Episode 17 – Stranger Things than Nude Tuesday

We deliver our final verdict on Pistol, and spot the likely cultural references in the new series of Stranger Things. Do modern special effects make that kind of thing more or less scary? El Tele trails upcoming memoirs from Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, and Libertines main man Pete Doherty, and is really looking forward to the New Zealand comedy film Nude Tuesday, starring Jackie van Beek and Jemaine Clement. He appreciates the YouTube channel Soft White Underbelly, which has interviews and portraits of the human condition by photographer Mark Laita.

The Captain will be off to see Chumbawamba documentary I Get Knocked Down at the weekend, and has been playing two recent album releases by Pale Fountains and Shack frontman Michael Head.
